Elements Collage
1. Create an 8 ½” x 8 ½ “ square out of the copy paper
2. Divide the square into 6 parts, (they do not have to be equal),if you use curvy lines then all the lines need to be curvy, if you use straight/zig zag then all the lines need to be straight/zig zag.
3. In each area/space, using your elements scavenger hunt, draw each element photo you collected into each area on the paper.
4. Look at your preliminary sketch, redraw it bigger on the 12 x 12” drawing paper.
5. Draw it lightly and check to make sure you have all the elements represented correctly. (line, color , shape, texture, value and space)
6. Meet with Mrs. Meyer to discuss where you are placing color and how it should be placed
7. Color in your element project using colored pencils, making sure you color neatly and are not showing any white of the paper but still showing the texture of the paper and pencil.
