David Hockney Inspired Collage/cubism using Photoshop and Digital Photos
Goals:
Good original images that capture clever and interesting 3-D view of your scene
Tight clear focus and good image quality (not distorted)
Interesting subject matter
Images arranged neatly and balanced using the Photoshop editing
1. Take numerous photos of a scene, worms eye, birds eye, and around the whole scene (at least 10 or more)
2. Put them into a folder that is easily accessed by Citrix
3. Open Photoshop and create a new project
a. New
b. 11 x 8.5” paper
c. Open each photo from Citrix
4. Click and drag to the paper, (new project)
5. Resize(without distortion) each and arrange to make it look like David Hockney’s technique
6. You can move some to the back or change other layers by clicking and dragging the layers in the right hand column.
7. Remember you are working background to foreground
8. Check to make sure you met the goals of the project (above)
9. When you are totally done arranging and composing your project, merge all visible layers
10. Save as a Jpg. And turn in through Google Classroom
a. Click on assignment
b. Click on add
c. Click on my drive
d. Double click on your project
e. Click add, Turn in
